Does the bb torch have swype text input capabilities? Or does anyone know of any similar apps to swype?

There are no keyboard replacement apps for the BlackBerry, at least not for now.

I've heard that RIM have called a board meeting to discuss how lucky they are to have you on board

Swype is the intellectual property of samsung. They won't share it in all likelyhood.

Maybe if someone can make it but idk how easy it would be.

Swype is not the property of Samsung. It is the property of Swype Inc. Its on many different phones.
