I just recently got a new Torch from AT&T and when I'm on BBM or norma SMS, the cursor (or highlighted section at the time) will move on its own and go to the "emoticons" button by itself, or cause me to mis-type words, or it'll send the text or BBM message on its own. Can anyone explain what's wrong with my phone, if anything? I've adjusted the sensitivity of the trackpad and it's helped only a tiny bit but nothing too outstanding.

There have numerous reports of BBM and SMS cursor issues that have been resolved with OS upgrades. If you're still using the stock OS that came on the 9800 when you purchased it, and you're comfortable doing so, I would suggest upgrading to the latest 9800 OS, 6.0.0.450 and install either BBM 5.0.2.XX or BBM 6.0.031, both will resolve the cursor issue.
