Anyone notice a significant reduction in battery life after updating to AT&T's OS 6.0.0.526? Wondering if I need a new battery or it actually is the OS.

.570 isn't "official", its a leak and can be found in the beta/hybrid section. Greatly improves battery life over .526.

Nope. Not really. When upgrading to a new OS, I always give the OS time to work. In the beginning, it seems to go fast, but now, my battery at the end of the day (2:00 am) is at 80%. I have no probs with .526 or my Torch.

I've actually gotten better battery life in my .526 than all other OS's, including .570. I gave .570 a shot for a couple days and the battery drain on it was overwhelming, so I downgraded back to .526.

Same here! OS.526 had better battery life, for me, than OS.570.

There's a new leak .576 out actually that came out a day or two ago. I'm giving that a shot to see how it goes. Just waiting for the OS to settle down and see how the battery drain goes.

I had a very terrible start with .526 and ended up having a phone that was unusable, social feeds, blackberry messenger and facebook used to freeze all the time. For now, .576 seems like a god send after .526 .
