My Torch has been acting up lately. Whenever I close or open the slider, or sometimes just press the screen to open an application, a large portion of the screen turns to a weird static-looking pattern. The screen then freezes.

Also sometimes the screen doesn't turn on at all, but the keyboard lights do.

Could something be loose inside my phone? It's outside the one-year warranty so I can't do anything with the provider. Should I try to fix it myself (open it up) or would you recommend bringing it into a store?

The torch I believe has some sort of magnet that works with virtual keyboard, when goes on the blink it causes weird screen problems.

Not on 100% sure though but I read CB few weeks back.

Also could be lcd cable.
