I have never seen such a horrible build quality, I had 4 different 9800s that were wobbly on the slider.
I love the big screen but the batter was too short for me and the keypad is crap compared to the Bold. Sorry guys, I got a 9780 and I think it is a real BB with a better keyboard and battery.

Having tried the 9780 at the dealer, while I was swapping phone numbers, I have to say the 9780 is actually something I would have considered when I was getting the Torch. Too bad they didn't have it back then.
I am so glad I returned this poorly made phone! Nice concept, very wrong implimentation!!! Sometimes I think? Are you all just try to ignore this fact just to protect your shiny new toy as you have just invested your money in??
I fell in love with it when I tried it at the store but when I took it home the build quality was sub standard of the BlackBerry specs and the Physical keyboard was garbage :x
Again, everything is in the eye of the beholder. The Torch is a great device but it is not a device for everyone. We don't really care what you get as long as it works for what you need it to do.

Exactly as I was thinking, another pointless thread about someone leaving the torch. Like we give 2 sh*t's about whether you think the device is poor or not. Most of us love our torchs', and do not think there's poor build quality.
I believe if i dig through the 9780 thread, or any forum dedicated to a mass produced item. I'm sure I can find a few threads about poor build quality.
Some people just cant get used to a non candy bar form of BB. Plain and simple, has nothing to do with the torch being a poor BB device.

I've had my Torch for two weeks and enjoy it, no major problems. Am very happy with it. Beats my old Bold 9000.
