I was wondering if there is any way you can set the browser to remember user names and passwords so you don't always have to type it out.

I wish this too. It seems to automatically log me into Facebook if I don't click log out, because I prefer the mobile site to the app but other than that I've had no joy. The dictionary has remembered some usernames tho, which can help a bit.
