    Can someone confirm this? I didnt notice this on the in-store model I played with...If its not backlit, thats kind of a big deal...


    Nevermind, just saw a few videos where it was definitely backlit

    I have the Torch in my hand right now. The hardware keyboard has backlighting. White letters against a black background-- nice and easy to see .

    I'm wondering if some early or demo models don't have the backlit keyboards...it seems maybe that's why I didn't like the Torch keyboard when I test drove one at mt AT&T store...I'd swear it looked dark or drab or something...

    I'm gonna have to look at that demo model again tomorrow, just to see if that's the case.

    Probably it was on a lighted area and did not need the backlight.
