    How do I do a wipe on my torch, and will it wipe out my contacts as well?

    Options-->Security-->Security Wipe. IT gives you an option to select "Emails, Contacts, Etc.", "User Installed Applications" and "Media Card".

    best way is to back up your device before you wipe anything..
