Strange things are afoot ... I have the drop-in charging pod for my Torch. I have is set on my night stand. Ever since I got the pod (5 mos ago) I have had my Torch set to disable all functions when in "Bedside" mode. It did not ring when called and no notifiers sounded, just the clock functioned.

Last night I put the Torch on the pod as usual. The clock appeared and the Torch dimmed down and went into Bedside Mode. A few minutes later an email alert sounded. Then another. I had my wife send me a BBM and that alert sounded.

I went into CLOCK - OPTIONS and found that the SOUND PROFILE was set to ACTIVE PROFILE. This allows the Torch to react to the profiles set even in Bedside Mode. I DID NOT SET THE SOUND PROFILE TO THAT SETTING!

So some gremlin sneaked into the room and set my Torch. This is too weird.
