My phone's been not working properly for a while and now it's completely gone. It used to work when i just push the lock key and the screen will come on, but now the screen's completely black, but the bottom buttons, call/ hang up, back buttons still light up.
Even when i slide up it doesn't work. i tried updating my phone, restoring it, etc. and of course i tried taking the batteries out and putting them back in.
I've used it for more than a year now since i got it in December of 2010 and I don't have insurance. i've been wanting to upgrade to an iPhone but I'm still waiting for the iPhone 5. but who knows when that'll be? June? October? most likely October.
What should I do?
Go to the retail store? I feel like they'll try to make me buy a replacement phone that's at a ridiculous price.
Can i just use an old phone that i used to use and how do i go about doing that?
