If you go to this web page;

and look at the very top of the screen it says;
Blackberry Torch 9800 with OS7 Update & Support
Could that mean they are getting ready to roll out the OS7 for the 9800? Maybe that's why they released all those free apps for OS7 today.
I see nothing about OS7 on that page.

Torch hardware doest not have the capability to support OS7 full stop. Unless there is a change in the way OS 7 codings are being written.
No way, no how. Feel free to use the search to review the zillion other threads on this.
But the page itself says not a single word about OS 7.
There wouldn't be a benefit to RIM allowing OS7 on a 9800. Must be a mistake.
