Try QuickLaunch. It has an option to lock Portrait/Landscape.

Do these still allow videos to play in landscape? That's the only time I use landscape, so the tilt kind of annoys me too (plus it messes with BeWeather). So, as long as the videos would still playing in landscape, I may try one of these.

I have tilt lock and it seem to only work on the homescreen (correct me if I'm wrong), but I'm going to try... my quicklaunch to see if that would suit my style.

Lock Tilt does not help with the BerryWeather problem. It locks the homescreen only, so BerryWeather is still "jacked up" when it comes to updating in Landscape.
