My only question is: will it have the same issues as the leaked version or has it been fixed before the official released? Hopefully fixed but i'll wait till someone tries this official release and confirm it.

I've always read in other threads that typically the leaked OS is exactly the same as the official OS. I think leaked is just what RIM provides, official only means that a carrier has decided to push it out to their customers.
So is this the same as the leaked .448 ? ...comparing file size its smaller so not sure what to think.
I think that's becaused the leaked version has all info for different carriers...ringtones, themes and whatnot. Once it's released by a particular carrier I assume they remove everything they don't want/need.

The official .448 version will be the same as the "leaked" version and will have the same problems. And there is no need to install an official version if you already have the "leaked" one installed.
OS .450 is very stable with no problems, in case anyone is interested

Yeah I'm running .450 as well and I'm very happy with it but wanted to see if the bugs from the leaked version are fixed so its worth the downgrade, if not then I'm good where I am as well.

Thanks for the confirmation.
This all being said I think I'll instally .450 tonight.

Again, just my assumptions.
A reasonable assumption but an incorrect one. Nothing changes when a carrier "blesses" an OS. They remove nothing. They simply certify that it works on their network for the devices they carry.
If they did as you assumed the OS would not work well on devices from other carriers, and by and large, they do
So, just to clarify, there's no difference in an 'official' or leaked version except that a carrier has given it the 'go ahead'? An official os will have the same issues/bugs as the leaked version?

I just installed .448,and when I open 2to 3 tabs,I get a message that says,Device Memory full close tabs.I don't know why it does this.I do have an 8gb media card installed,is there anyway I could use some of its memory for the browser??
When I installed it, I didn't see the option for Chinese (and I did look).
Its multilanguage isn't it?? So there should be chinese in it, from desktop manager, got to apps and select the language you want to install for text input and language output
