Just wanted to share this, I'm due my upgrade and the retentions advisor on the phone told me that they Bold 9700 would no longer be available on o2 in the UK and o2 would be offering the new Blackberry Torch in 3 to 4 weeks time. This was direct from their retentions department over the phone about an hour ago.

if they offer the phone free over a 24 month contract then i would consider switching networks, unless tmob offer it cheaper and improve its signal in my area

I hope you're right, but I reckon it'll be on Voda first in around 4 weeks and the other networks about 4 weeks after that.

My O2 Blackberry is also due for an upgrade and I've been waiting to find out when they're gonna release it. I guess I could wait 3/4 weeks but if Vodaphone do a good deal, I'll go with them. My loyalty is to Blackberry, not some carrier.

I am sooooo excited about the 9800.
