When you create a SMS, down at the bottom there are icons on the screen, tap or choose the paperclip which lets you attach pictures, thus making it a MMS.

    OR

Go to the picture you want to send and hit the menu button, choose "Send" then "Text Message"

    OR

Go to the picture you want to send and click the first icon (an envelope with horizontal lines in front of it) to send

I don't think the MMS and mobile web browsing service books are being accepted by the Torch. This goes for any carrier except AT&T. It may be a compatibility issue with Blackberry 6

After you follow the instructions send an MMS to yourself to activate it on your phone.

Yeah, I have done that. Only issue is that DM5 (or 6) will not allow me to transfer the service books. The option is simply not available. I can open the files but I cannot transfer.

In dm5 it in backup/restore, click advanced, click on the pulldown on the left hand side and choose open, find the servicebook file that you downloaded and unzipped and load them to the 9800 by selecting them on the left and pressing the arrow.

Xandermac, I have done that but the arrow to transfer to the device is not available. Simply will not allow it.

It's greyed out right? I had to hilight the servicebook file on the left for the transfer arrow to become active. Have you tried that? Also, I don't choose any of the usb options when I plug in and they pop up, I just leave them there.

OK, I finally got it to work.

I wiped the BB and installed 6.0.0.161

Did ALL the steps carefully from the instructions. I was able to load all the TMO service books again and get UMA to work.

I sent myself a MMS from my iPhone. That did it!

Everything works except for Visual Voice mail. I can live with that for now.

    Thanks again
