2 questions......

1.)since rim has come out with os 7 and the torch 2, are they still going to make updates for os 6? considering its not eve a full year since it came out and not alot of ppl have another $700 laying around to get a more up-to-date fast phone?

2.) is os 6.0.600 better then os 6 bundle 1907? and if so would updating software to 6.0.600 cause problems if its not offered by the carrier?

1. Yes. I do expect OS6 updates to continue coming in for 9800.
2. I have updated to 600 using an unofficial leak and haven't had any problems so far. AT&T has released it officially anyway - think there is a link towards the top of the 9800 forums page.

I agree with prashkul, most devices are supported for 18 months give or take a few. The more devices out there with OS6 the more likely they are to support it longer.
