Hello guys,


I noticed that i only receive an MMS while i�m connected to data.

I use a generic data plan.
If i don�t connect to it, i don�t receive any mms.
No notification, i mean.

Is it by default? I wish i could at least receive a notification while i�m not connected.....

is there a way?

When i try to send without data on, i get an red clock and stays forever... when i turn data on, it auto sends the message

My big doubt is: can i have a notification when data is off whenever i receive an mms?

MMS is and always has been a 'data' type of connection on any phone...

I�ll try to explain it better:
I can only receive MMS with data on. If i�m data off, i cant receive any MMS(nor any notification that someone send me a MMS).

I just want to know, why doesnt notification appears when data connection is off.

Because your phone never gets the MMS. It's like, why don't you get an email notification when your data is off. Phone doesn't know.

Yeah... its annoying.... other phones warns you that you received a MMS, and give you the option to connect data to retrieve.....
but thats ok, i�m thinking about to let data services on all the time...
