The "ribbon" that covers the buttons for the "on","off","return", and "menu" has fallen off and lost. Anyone know where to get a new one?

I'd try to return it under warranty. If not, cnn.cn has them with the keyboard for $7.

Pbflash thankyou! The buttons are functional still and looks like the phone has "eyes" looking back at me. Cool looking, really, but, it needs covering I guess. I'm rough on 'em!

Yes but it's only $6.99 at CNN.

Be very careful about replacing that keyset, From what I've seen on YouTube for disassembly videos, the Torch is extremely complicated to disassemble, and you'll have to completely disassemble the back section, and then remove the back section from the slider in order to remove a cover that covers those buttons, unless they're just glued on, but that seems pretty unlikely.

Actually the cover over those buttons is just glued on. There are several posts about it coming unglued, or sounding like its sticky underneath when clicking buttons.
