You say some days...have you given enough time for the OS to settle in?? Have you done enough battery pulls?
    Yes, I had.
Everytime I try a new Firmware I do a battery pull nearly every 2 hours for 2 days (except the time Im sleeping) and test it for at least 5 day befor I look for pros and cons.
I still have the same impressions but Im not going back to .723. I hope the Z10 will be available soon here in Germany.

this ".749" OS version has a 2.1 App World, which is step back from previous ".723" OS which has a 3.0 App World.
what is a point of update then, if some items are downgraded instead of updated.
3.1 App World was released before ".749" came along.
why not include it in an "updated" OS, since it's available?
3.1 and 4.0 App World work with wi-fi, this would really be an update...
The leaked .723 came from SK_Telecom.......749 is from T-Mobile Austria. I don't know, but I'm guessing each carrier rolls their own, kinda like the hybrids. Besides, can't you just install the new App World?

Looks good. Plan on running it along with the BL returns hybrid v4.0.0. Any reason not to?

From the http://forums.crackberry.com/hybrid-...0118-a-763204/ thread in the Hybrids forums:

    https://updateservice.t-mobile.net/b...A6.0.0.749.exe

*For all 6.0.0.749 OS installers, Go to Austria -> Free Download Area -> Endgerte -> Rim Devices -> *DEVICE* -> Handheld Software 6.0 rel 3159

Hope this helps. Haven't decided whether I'm going to 749 or just 723, or just hang w/ 706 until Z10 is available in US.

    Thanks,

I have updated but notice nothing different whatsoever...

Is there a way to "clean" my phone? Like ccleaner, or similar, to wipe out all unnecessary rubbish?

Only before the OS installation. You can perform a BBSAK wipe and then install your OS.

Depends on what you're calling rubbish. What specifically do you want to get rid of, and we'll see if it's possible.

Worst of all, looks like that OS v6.0.0.756 from VodafoneSpain is going to be the last update for old Torch 9800, since BlackBerry is already pushing BB 10 devices rather than legacy devices. I'm really hoping this latest update would be All Language update.

This one works fine for me. Took over a week to stabilize, but now runs rock solid for 3-4 weeks without needing a battery pull.
