Long time reader/lurker, first time poster. Got a call from my store this morning telling me the phones were in and I could come get it. The rep said I was the first one to actually show up to get it! In the process of getting everything moved over to my new phone, and shoule be up and running in a few.

Just called my corp. store and they said they aren't legaly aloud to give them out until tomorrow when they open @ 10. I put my name on a list to reserve mine but apparently they arent honoring that either. First come first serve and they only got 3 of them in. Wow. Guess I'm getting up at 7 tomorrow.

Lol, oh alright. A lot of people say "pics or it didn't happen" if someone claims something that seems to be untrue. I mean it is only one day before release, but I can see where he is coming from. A lot of stores are very strict when it comes to selling devices before the scheduled release date.

Well, I stopped... and (no surprise) am still "Torchless."

Rep told me RIM/AT&T are being very strict about this launch. They aren't even allowed to open the master cartons to unbox them until 1/2 hour before the store opens tomorrow.
