I just want to inform everyone that JL_Cmdr doesn't work on window 7 64bit platform.

window showed that the software is incompatible with 64bit platform. I am so sad. how the **** can I wipe the device to troubleshoot it.

What ver of JL do you have?
See if this works: Click compatibility tab and check Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (Service Pack 2).

The only file you really NEED is JL_Cmder.cmd
You could try BBSAK 1.8.2 if you want as well. It works for me on Win 7 64 Enterprise

Edit: I should say, I haven't wiped my Torch yet as it works flawlessly with .246 on company BES. I've wiped dozens of other models over the years, for work.

I have version 1.9 on win 7 ultimate 64 bit and it works just fine for me. Downloaded from somewhere on this forum. I find bbsak to be cumbersome(although I do use it), and i have to make it full screen to use as in its minimized state(what it pops open too), I cant see anything other then my device picture.

EDIT:
I have this CHOICE.com in my folder and still have no issues with win7 64 bit and jl_cmder.
On a side note, the blackberry master control program does everything both of these programs do and is a little easier to use in my opinion. I use all 3 at different times depending on what i want to do.
