Has anyone had issues with installing a new app or updating existing app while free memory is less than 200 MB?
I notice that my 9800 becomes unstable and can go into infinite reboot loop under these conditions.
    Is this a case of:
    limitations of OS6?
    defective memory?
certain combinations of apps interfering with eachother?

It does not happen all the time but the frequency increases as memory drops below 200 MB.

I run my OS6 phone with ~155MB free memory. No problems to report here. Have you tried an OS re-install?

Yes I have re-installed the OS multiple times as the infinite reboot loop has happened quite often.

What major apps are u running?

I have Whatsapp, drivesafe.ly, Google Voice, Leave it On and a couple of other apps constantly running. I know I'm at 155ish because I use QuickPull to reboot every night.

The next time it happens, try to note the time. Then when it boots up, press Alt LGLG and see if there's anything in the event log corresponding to that time frame.

Oh I got a lot of the same apps installed. I'm just not running them all at the same time Anyway, it's not a free memory on OS6 issue.

I had this issue and turns out it's not the amount of memory it's the sheer number of apps. There seems to be a limit. My problem was that I have Iconify installed and every weblink I created counted as an app, so once I hit a certain number of installed apps I got the infinite reboot cycle and had to wipe my phone. Now I only install apps and links that I plan to use regularly and it hasn't happened again.
