Hi there,

I purchased my Torch a week ago and I would greatly appreciate anyone's help.

I can't lock my phone. I've read all the "locking" threads on this forum, but they all seem to deal with questions of unlocking, not locking.

My problem is different. I simply can't lock my phone! When I press the "lock" button on the top left, all that happens is my screen goes black for 0.5 seconds, and then turns back on. It does not lock. All buttons/touch pad can still be pressed.

What is going on here? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I had the same problem. I downloaded PatternLock Lite from App world. Problem solved.

I would recommend pulling the battery and trying again. If that doesn't work I would update/reinstall the operating system.
