I got the torch and was wondering if I can upload my contacts from my curve to the torch.

Download Blackberry desktop manager 6
Plug in your curve and backup
Plug in your torch, and restore.
You will have everything from your curve to your torch.

I suggest not doing a full restore/device switch from your Curve.

When you click restore, put a check next to select items to restore.

Then you can go through the list and select things like contacts, calendar, sounds (profile), etc.

Only restore those few crucial things. Lots of people have had issues after transferring all the settings from older devices to OS6.

Like the other post said, d/l desktop manager. Back up your curve.
Use the "switch device" option and your good to go.

sync your two phones together, then on the curve you should be able to find an option to send selected contacts.

i have the same problem. i had a curve 8330 and got a new torch. both on telus and no matter what i do my contacts wont transfer. and help would be nice
