Can you explain the problem more? Are you on a phone call and when you turn the phone to landscape mode, it switches to speaker phone? One way is to open the keyboard, which locks portrait mode.
Yeah I'm usually on the phone. I'll lay down, and after about a minute or so, the call changes to speaker. I then have to move the phone back to portrait, then it goes back. I don't think I've ever had the keyboard open while on a call though.

Other people have posted about this. Don't know if it's a bug or if it's designed to do that...perhaps the phones assumes you need speaker because in landscape mode your ear isn't near the earpiece?
I don't know if there's a solution. I do know portrait mode locks if you open the keyboard, so that definitely "fixes" the problem.
