I currently use Outlook 2002 to sync with my Torch 9800 for email, contacts etc.

However, I have a new laptop and want to use another email client on it.

What recommendations do other users have of email clients on Windows 7 syncing with the Torch?

you don't need to sync your email via your computer, you would only sync your contacts and calendar, todo list and notes... If you use google you wouldn't have to sync to computer at all, just to do a backup. You would sync contacts and calendar wirelessly.
I have windows 7 and just started using google mail, much easier and then you can log in from any computer anywhere also.
