The screen is constanty dimming itself even if im using it actively. Then it goes in full brightness at random times. This happens even if the phone is fully charged.

Thats called auto diming. Up top on the face of the phone there will be sensors that adjust your phone to the amount of light it is getting. Thats a feature not a defect. Look for it in options -> display if you want to disable it.
