So I looked on ebay for an extra battery for my torch (I always like to have an extra in case) but they weren't selling any F-S1 batteries! But instead they advertised D-X1 TORCH 9800 Battery. So I don't know if it will work and if I should order it.

I have the D-X1 external charger and it seems to fit the F-S1 in there but it's kind of lose. Would it charge it properly?

I've been trying to google these answers but no help please someone who knows let me know!

I answered one of my own questions, the D-X1 charger works for F-S1 but the D-X1 battery I will test out when I find a friend with a curve or storm

The D-X1 charger does NOT work with the F-S1 battery. You will get a red light charge, which means it is NOT charging. It's only charging when you get a amber light. The F-S1 battery fits in the D-X1 charger but it just doesn't charge.

How long did it take to reach 100% fully charged? When using the RIM charger (part number HDW-19137-001) the light turns ORANGE and then RED and after 6 and a half hours, it was put inthe phone. It was only at 70% charge.

IMHO, 6.5 hours to reach 70% is unacceptable.

Has anyone found out if the D-X1 external charger works as is or can me 'modified" to charge the Torch F-S1 batteries?
