Does anyone here has a problem which torch's screen automatically shows up without unlocking it?

I have this problem sometimes when I press the lock button, it usually stays in that mode but sometimes it automatically shows up and I don't know why?

I do actually. Which is why my phone would open apps and menu options because the screen would go back on with out pressing any button. I would like to see RIM fix their lock button to be a true lock button and not just a screen display turning off then on randomly.

my 9700 did the same thing. the screen would light up for no apparent reason then dim again.

One of my biggest complaints with the 9800 was that there needs to be a way to lock the screen. I would remove it from the holster and it would be showing something I had not even used before. I want it locked to the HOME SCREEN with the MENU of MY choice and not it's choice.
