I have killed my Blackberry torch by taking it swimming in Thailand.
I tried the Rice cure for 3 days but NOTHING.
I've decided to "move on" but need to retrieve all my contacts, diary and if possible photos from my dead phone, is this possible.
My son has a new "curve" - different network to the one I'm on, can I use this any way ? I take it I'll need to download to my lap top.?

If they were stored on your microSD card just pull that out and download them from it...as far as contacts I HOPE you are a user of BlackBerry Protect, or you have backed up your phone on your computer...if not...I am sorry to say but the odds of getting your content is very low...sorry...and it should be taken as a great lesson for the future.

BlackBerry Protect normally has a decent backup of info. did you use this app by chance?

Not backed up so looks like I'll have to start all over again although do have most on my hotmail account. Oh blooming heck, looks like i'm going to be busy. Switching to an I phone as have an I pad and used to using it now. Thanks for the advice
