I just upgraded my Bold 9700 to the Torch, and I am having trouble saving new contacts to the SIM. Everything I have read makes no mention of the subject. Anyone know how to save new contacts to the SIM from the Torch?

P.S. Going to Contacts > John Doe > BlackBerry key does not give an option to save to SIM as was the case with the Bold.

Only way I figured to do it on the torch was to go to contacts, push application key, click sim phone book, click new. then add it there. I would be interested in finding a way to do it with existing contacts if possible as well though.

I don't have a Torch yet, but do recall that the Copy to Sim option is rather finicky. You must have the cursor on the phone number that you want to copy, since sim's can only handle one number per contact. If your cursor is on the email address, you will not see the option

    ^^^ That works. AWESOME. Thanks.

I opened up the contact hovered over the number, click application key. then copy to sim phone book.
