Can the torch be updated to 6.1? I hope so.

At this time we don't know. Can it be and will it be are the two questions that will be found out soon enough. The reported leak of 6.1 that appeared here on the CB will not work on the Torch. If you do a search, you should be able to find more info.

I think some people did make some hybrids with OS 6.1 you could look at them

According to info I read in the leaked OS threads last week there will be but we probably won't even see a leak until after the new phones are out with a new OS

The devices 9780 and the torch 9800 will be updated to OS 6.1..
Well, i hope so. The minimun requeriments for OS 6.1 is 512 RAM/512 ROM

It better be or else its a nice kick in the face for Torch and 9780 owners. Crap like that made me leave Nokia. Got sick of them not releasing upgrades. This is where apple has it right. They support their phones for at least a couple years.

Yep, but the OS 6.1 will be available for 9780 and 9800, sure!! be patient, in a few months (i guess).. =)
