I use the desktop software to sync between my office Outlook and 9800 several times a day. I had no issues with the earlier version. With this version, I configured the calendar to ONLY SYNC FUTURE entries. Unfortunately, that isn't what is happening, i.e. the new software wants to sync everything back about six months (which is about 700 entries) and add them to my Outlook. I wasn't expecting this and I had to delete all the double entries. I suspect, even though I told the program when it found conflicts to use data from Outlook only, it pulled data from the 9800 otherwise I doubt I would have the duplications.

I configured the calendar, tasks and memos for two-way between device and computer which is what I've always had.

Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, is there a workaround?

Lastly, RIM doesn't appear to have a mechanism to post bug reports.
