Alright, here's the deal. I am currently in the states on business and texts are going to cost me 75 cents a piece. If I block them in the security section will Bell still charge me the 75 cents if someone sends me a text? If one is sent bell would still receive it but my phone would just prevent bell from sending it to me, no?

that's a really good question. I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks in June and would love to know the answer myself!

The second question/answer seems reasonable to me. can't wait to see the responses on this one...

Blocking text messages with the Firewall will not prevent you from getting charged by your carrier.

You need to call the carrier directly to temporarily block texts on the line.

Alright, thanks guys! I figured as much. Not really much point in blkocking texts when you get charged for them anyways lol
