I'm running the stock version of BlackBerry 6 that came on the Torch.


When BBM conversations get lengthy they take about 2 to 3 seconds for the conversation to open. Does this happen with anyone else? Has this been fixed in recent updates?

I had many issues including the BBM issue when I ran .246. Running .448 with BDHP hybrid without any issues and opens quickly, even the stock .448 runs better than .246.

Do you have the link by any chance to the official release of .448 for the Torch?

I also had many laggy issues with the stock OS. If you upgrade it you'll notice a big difference.

Just do a search for .448 and you'll find it no problem.

Here is the link for 3UK downloads. Select Torch 9800 and you'll see the official release, but remember you have to delete vendor.xml before install otherwise it won't work

Yes you can use that link, that is the leaked OS, which I don't think is much different from the Official. Choose which ever one you want. The official link I posted above

I just installed .448, everything went well.. I don't really notice a difference in speed of the phone, maybe a little.. will wait to see if BBM lag reoccurs
