    My buddy just got a torch and he doesn't have a sim card lol but he still wants to make use of it, he uses it for music, uses facebook to text some people etc.. but we tried setting up bbm but it says that we can't set it up unless we have a sim, is there a way that we can set it up even if we don't have a sim?

    Unfortunately, no. While you can on a BB10 device, these legacy devices require a BIS-enabled account (BlackBerry Internet Service) to be able to do so.
