    Hi! I would like to use my phone even when the slider is down but I can't. Screen turns off when slider is down. What seems to be the problem? Please help Thank you!

    Go to Options then display and screen lock with slider and uncheck. You should be good after that.

    Wrong phone. This is a 9810 feature, not a 9800.

    You likely have a hardware issue with your phone. If you search, you'll find others with the same issue, or screen goes out when slider is up.

    You have a bad main slidder ribbon cable. Most common fault in 9800/9810
