My Vendor ID is 180 Turkcell in my Torch. And I removed Turkcell Boot logo by coincidence. I just want to play with cod files to gain space but then I tried something and what I saw is boot logo was dissappeared and my device is still on the 180 vendor ID.

    How did I did is:

Connect your Torch device to your windows operated PC in USB Drive mode.
Go to My computer and open one of the BlackBerry Drives.
In "folder options" select "show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide protected operating system files"

Save your settings and turn back to folder.

You have two drives in your BlackBerry one of them is Memomry Card and other Phone memory in this folders remove all hidden and protected files even if they are read only files. just leave "home" and "BlackBerry" folders in drive. After rebootin' your device you'll see that there is no operator logo.

I add the List of files that I removed before installing OS but I don't think that these codes are related to reboot image. At first I tought operator logo gone because of the codes named toolkit but I triet to reload them by using VNBB and BBSAK the opplogo didn't come back.

    Here my BB's Boot screen:

These are system files which could be relevant: (I did fresh install after removing them I don't know what will be the result if you remove after installization. I also try to load them back with BBSAK and VNBB Utils but nothing come back)

What can I say is I don't have any problems after removing these cods and system files. You can't know without giving a try on this so please try and please write your comments if it works with your BB Torch.

    Added new high resolution video:

I did this and I have no problems. I already remove cods from OS but I dont think that they are related to boot logo.

Do you know what COD's you removed? I would suspect that more than deleting files off the memory.

I add the list but this one 9800 only. I dont think that will help to remove any other BB's boot logo.

I just tried this, I deleted all the hidden folders from the internal storage then pulled the battery. When it powered up the AT&T splash screen was there and the hidden folders were back on the phone. It must be because you deleted the .cod files.

I have no idea how to do that but looking at the list, I would need to keep quite a few. Maybe someone can determine which files in the list are related to the boot screen.

Vendor splash screen and ID is embedded in the VSM file of the blackberry, not in the on board device memory.
