I've checked through the forums but haven't come across a problem like the one I am experiencing.

I recently bought a Samsung HM1800 Bluetooth device. I checked and ensured that it was listed as being compatible with the Torch 9800 before purchasing. When I pair it with the handset, I am hearing a beeping sound in the Bluetooth device itself (not coming from the phone). I am hearing the beeping sound whether or not I am on a call.

I paired the device with my Blackberry 9320 and was able to use the device without any problems, without any beeping.

Is it that the HM1800 is not compatible or is there a feature/function on the Torch that needs to be turned off?

Need some help here. Let me know.

That is a strange problem. I don't really have a good idea of what is going with that, but one thing you might check is the settings for in call alerts. Make sure the privacy alert is set to none.

Hopefully someone else will have a better idea as to what's going on with your BT.
