I was wondering what to install...after seeing all the new OS updates, im not really sure what to get. im still rocking the .337 which is pretty old but has been very good to me until i installed the FB 1.9. I read somewhere here that the new FB version runs well with the new OS (448 or 450) but not 337.

Anyway, pretty much i am just an average joe who wants to bring the best out of my phone's performance. Opinions are much welcome.

Tried .450 for about 4 days, battery seemed to drain faster so I switched to .448 along BDHP 6.1. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Faster browser, used my phone quite a bit more then usual today and had an average of -3.5% battery. Navigates screens faster.. Well, it just seems to do everything faster then I've ever had my phone do. Before .450 I was on my providers .246.

i ran both OS's on my 9800. .448 was running great for a few days until i decided to give .450 a run, even though the reviews were spotty. while on .450, i noticed nothing much different than .448 except the lag when viewing pics was back, the OS was laggy in general and i was getting horrible battery life (-9-12%/hr). i reverted back to .448 and im seeing -2-3.5%. i think most of the people here would say that .448 is quicker and more stable.

I liked .448 except for the fact that BerryPopup and BerryMail wouldn't work...so I upgraded to .450 and they both work now. I think battery life might be slightly less on this build, but I still get more than a day and I charge every night...so worth it to me to have all apps working.

448 all the way for me. I tried both. Had too many error messages with 450. Nothing that stopped the phone from running smooth but they annoyed me.
As for batt..... my Torch is now in 9700 territory. Insane!! I never would have believed it.

.448 has been on my phone since the day of its leak. Much better all around than .337 which was a lot better than .246. So far there is no reason for me to move to .450. No advantage I can see and some quirks that do not exist in .448.

450 battery life seems to be an improvement for me over the one day I tried 448.

you need to use an OS for at least 3 or 4 days before you can accurately judge its battery life.

Been more than a week on .450 and all is real good including battery life!
There are a lot of different findings in these forums as to which OS is better!

I've had the .450 installed on both torch (wife & mine), runs great with no issues. Battery last about two day on my phone & about a day and half for the wife's phone. All I do is e-mail,text & bbm while the wife does text, bbm & the social feed thing.

I've had 450 since release and its very good. Battery life is still a couple days tops. Selecting links within the browser is great.
The camera takes better indoor pictures than it did prior (for me) on 337.
It's as good now as it should be.

I used .448 for 1/2 day, then went with .450 for about 4 days. I thought .448 gave me better battery life so I reverted back to .448. Batt life actually seems the same to me. I know some others have a preference, but I haven't seen any noticeable difference between the two.

I'm on the UK 448 and I notine I have lost the "view on maps" option on the camera menu for geotagged photos. Anyone else find that? Does 450 have this feature?

Yes I agree the picture quality on .450 isn't as good as .337 or .246, they seem a bit more darker to me.

.450 was horrible! Battery drained a **** lot. The OS was too laggy! The black squarish clock was a frequent visitor!
Surprisingly, the videos did not have sound either. Tried reloading, but didn't help.

So now on .450 with BDHP v6.1 ... Smooth and Fast!

I know. That's why I only said it "seems" to be that way. Quite frankly, I don't feel like switching back and forth to get a more accurate comparison. The point is, 450 battery life has been very solid for me.

There is no question that 448 battery life went down over the prior version. I watch battery very closely and it definitely suffered on 448 by about 15% unless it was just the scale they changed. I put 450 on last night and will see how it compares. prior to 448 I was getting to end of day with 65-70% and 448 would take me to 35-45.
