    1. Yes, The wallpaper can be changed but at the moment not on the app screen, (might link these on next update so you can)
    2. No, you cant swap 'Messages' for something else, sorry.
    3. I've not tested it on any Hybrids.
    4. In the screenshot the app is BerryWeather 2.0
    5. Due to popularity I am going to develop it for the Curve 83xx/85xx and for the Storms too. Also for OS 5.0 for the 8900/9000
    6. Sorry, you cant change the font size of the today section, although i will consider making it 3 appointments/messages with larger type size.
    7. Yes, I will add a spacebar > quicklaunch feature when i next update, i think that's a great idea.
    8. Yes I will also do a hidden-dock version without the "today" area.

    Thanks all

    Dave

#1, #6 and #7 would be great in the next update. #6 is not a huge deal although it would be nice.

Is there anything different in 1.2? Can't see anything different that's obvious.

    Just uploaded 1.2.

The only difference is that if you press SPACE from the homescreen it will open QuickLaunch (if you use quicklaunch of course)

A version without today would be nice, and white text for the carrier information but that doesn't sound like it's going to happen.

    Great theme!

Please can you make it to 3 messages and thus increase the text size? I'm not currently using your theme now because I can see text on the screen

    Tx win

Dave: I'm new to Blackberry and am excited to see your theme for the 8330. How long does it take to create/develop a theme? Just curious? I am ecstatic to have it unless I jump ship to the tour soon!
    Thanks

    Hi David:

I just installed this on my Tour and it looks GREAT! The quicklaunch via the spacebar was a nice touch. The theme design is original and the icons are top notch.

I'll try it with larger text and less "today" entries, and see if it makes a difference. Will get back to you tomorrow.

I am using it on my Tour with 5.0.230 and it is freakin awesome!

My only complaint is the 3rd and 4th icons are "smushed" together
and the 1st icon is a hair higher than the others...

CalxDesign, is there any fix for this?

    kkwus74 & Strangely Brown:

It's not supported for Tour OS 5.0 - I could do it, I mean Plazmic has an option to export for this OS - but as far as I'm aware, please correct me if I'm wrong, there is no official OS 5.0 for the Curve 8900, Bold 9000 and Tour 9630 which means when stuff like those icons "smushing" (good word!) happens I can't say for sure if it's my fault or not cos the OS is unofficial and I would also have no way of testing.

Hope you understand - as soon as they put out an official OS 5.0 for the above handsets I'll have themes ready to go.

    jcp007:

Sorry no, unless anyone knows otherwise I cant think of a way this can be done.

    marcster:

Yep, a standard 'Zen' version would be a good idea.

Thanks again for all this feedback, I do appreciate it. I'm just testing for the 8300 series, so that wont be long coming either.

    Cheers

This was the first theme I downloaded for my Tour . Running the current approved OS from Verizon (4.7.1.61).

As Strangely Brown noted, the 3rd and 4th icons on the Home Page are touching each other while all the others are not (this is not the case on the applications screen).

Any way to fix this? Just wondering.

    Thanks in advance.

I've bookmarked this thread so I can periodically check for updates on the Storm version - can't wait! This theme is nice, clean, subtle. Definitely the type of theme I'm looking to sport on my Storm! Nice work!

Thanks for noting this, it definitely doesn't happen on the simulators. Can anyone else confirm this is happening on the Tour running OS 4.7?
I'll look into it straight away.

    Tour 9630 4.7.1.61

Home icons "squished", left icon higher...and spacebar at Home does not bring up quicklaunch.

    Great theme, though...!

I saw this while looking another theme, is this the "squashing" issue for Mord users on a Tour (9630)?

AppleBerry Theme Suite 2.0 for the Tour 9630 - Beta Information:

Please note that until the release of the official theme development software from RIM, the Tour version will have several graphical bugs that cannot be resolved...These issues affect ALL themes on the Tour, not just AppleBerry.
