    +1.

All OS 6 themes for 480x360 devices could go in one forum, since those themes are compatible with any of the devices.

while true, TB6 does have seperate options for 9700 and 9650 export. plus names / model numbers is better than screen res for people to understand, a os5 theme and os6 theme forum with repsective device subforums would be better imho

What about an OS6 theme forum titled "BlackBerry Themes-OS6-9650/9700/9780"?

I don't like looking in three forums to find themes -- seems inefficient.

Sounds like a good idea! It's just a waste of time to look through three forums now and then figure out from the title if it's an OS6 theme or OS5 theme with OS6 icons.

Hey, I beat the OP by several hours with this idea.....let's combine the threads....

Ok....NOW I am really upset that there is no word from the Mods (just venting, don't take it personally)....

Right on the first page of the 9650 Themes forum, I find all of these threads, which either don't say what OS it is for and/or don't say Free or Premium. What happened to standards and quality control over thread naming for themes? Do we need to moderate the themes forum and not allow threads to post until they are checked?

    - http://forums.crackberry.com/f212/pu...s-free-577995/ - OS5

    - http://forums.crackberry.com/f212/fr...t-more-581337/ - OS5

    - http://forums.crackberry.com/f212/laker-theme-581132/ - making a theme. no indication of OS and no free/premium

    - http://forums.crackberry.com/f212/fr...iendly-524701/ - OS5

    - http://forums.crackberry.com/f212/re...esigns-582268/ - OS6

    - http://forums.crackberry.com/f212/fr...l-size-530770/ - Both OS5 and OS6 versions, but no note in the thread title

    - http://forums.crackberry.com/f212/fr...iendly-543631/ - Both OS5 and OS6 versions, but no note in the thread title

    - http://forums.crackberry.com/f212/ht...remium-518224/ - No indication of OS in title

    - http://forums.crackberry.com/f212/fr...mobile-520101/ - Looks to be both OS5/6 but no mention in title

Again, no personal offense is intended towards the moderators or any of the posters/developers whose themes are linked above. I just like seeing CB being the most efficient to use forum as possible. And I think it is not with themes now. That's just my very vocal $.02.

    It's even worse now.

With so many themes for OS6 coming out, the only somewhat efficient way to find OS5 themes in the forums is to search.

It really would be a benefit to fans of OS6 AND OS5 to separate them out.....

My theme is the very last one called "[FREE] The Official TWP Theme by Pootermobile"

That theme is now OS6 compatible. Now I'm not being defensive or what have you I'm just saying my side of this.

When I first posted the theme OS6 wasn't out yet for the 9650 or 9700 so I posted the theme up for 5.0. Now, when I ported the theme over for OS6 compatibility I didn't want to do what all of you are saying, clutter up the forums. So I just updated the post with the OS6 link and left a comment saying it was ready for OS6. If I would've been able to change the title I would've but you can't rename it once the thread is up. And I knew no moderators were gonna go around fishing for my threads just to rename them.

So that's the story of one developer's experience.

Very good point. I forgot about not being able to rename the titles. That complicates things.....Ah well.....I just continue to dig for OS5 themes here and there.....

If you want something good, you have to work for it!
    LOOK! READ!!!
Besides, these themes were posted when OS6 was only a dream...and the titles of the threads can't be changed.

Besides, no one should still be on OS5 now anyway if you have a 9650...just my opinion

I still don't like looking through multiple forums for 480x360 themes. There are still some 9700s on OS5. Just look at the duplication this morning:

I'd still love to see a single OS6 480x360 thread. I thought the earlier suggestion was good: "BlackBerry Themes-OS6-9650/9700/9780"
