I have ALOT of threads on how to resize icons using photoshop cs4. But I am still having issues. Here's what i'm trying to do:

Resize icons that are 60x60 for Bold 9700 to a smaller size.
I have opened the image and "image size"
    Then canvas size.
Issue: Image was distorted and "off" in size

Tried another suggestion to make new image that's transparent and copy and paste resized image, but I had image quality issues.

    Please help!

I am pretty sure that the icons that you want are actually 80x80, not smaller. I use GIMP to resize stuff. Create an 80x80 transparent background. Open your icon, resize it to the desired size (74x74 works pretty good), and paste it onto your canvas. Save file. Done.

I create an automated "action" and it will resize all of my icons for me. I use the tour and have my icons at 64x64 but my canvas at 80x80.

Your canvas size needs to be the size that the normal precision icons are.. which I think is 80x80 like HF said. Tour 8900 and 9700 I believe all use 80x80.

the automated action works WONDERS! Saves alot of time. Click HERE for the tutorial I used.
