Working on a theme, and for the life of me I can not figure out how to get my weather icon up in the banner area.

Anyone want to offer me some assistance/guidance?

    Appreciated.

Build your theme as a custom, not zen or today, and just put the icon up there, and then check the use application order button. When you load the theme, the icon in that slot will show up there in that slot. Move your weather app to that position on the app screen, and you are done.

You have to use composer and create an svg file for the homescreen, or Plazmic will not let you export the theme.

    it's easy as pie

    1. fire up composer, select new and pick your device
    2. leave the screen white, it doesnt matter
    3. click the add application button on the toolbar
    4. move it where you would like it
    5. select to use application order or third party app in the buttons properties
    6. save the .cp file in composer
    7. file---> export --->svg and save it in the folder your theme is in
    8. in themebuilder, on the homescreen section browse to your svg file in the box at the top.
Give it a whirl, and ask if anything I said makes no sense

I thought that all you had to do was click Full Screen Banner, and you wouldn't run into this issue?

Got it working, all I was going for was the stock Precision theme, w/ a hidden today area and a weather spot in the top right.

Most theme developers do not post their .thm files, just to let you know.

Some of us BB folks believe in the free as in beer concept too

What exactly are you looking for? I probably have a generic .thm .cp and svg file here for it, and I will gladly share.

Any advice on how to do this with the TB Beta 6?
