Why isn't the general public aware of these codes? We here on Crackberry are already fans and many of us already have the devices, let the public know and maybe this "limited time" coupon might trigger some deflections from others. $499 for a Passport is a good price and in line or better than some other "flagships"

I doubt the 'general public' purchases unlocked devices.
They're going for the carrier subsidized locked devices.

ALSO: this is an elegant way for BlackBerry to move additional devices without seeming desperate. It's genius just the way it is!

The 'general public' can google 'shopblackberry + coupon' and BAM, even those who have never heard of crackberry will stumble upon...
