Wow, that's pretty dumb. Maybe I shouldn't get it. That's a very inconvenient place for the camera

You get use to it quickly. I wouldn't let that deter you.

Where taken with a Style
It is only a mild drawback, and is comparitively minor in the scheme of things.

If you think about it, the flip would have to be thicker to accommodate the camera, and bigger to keep it out of the screen. So putting it in the bottom half just made way more sense from a packaging standpoint even if it is inconvenient.
your kidding right!!! placing judgement on a phone cuz your dont want to move a finger by half an inch... yes its in a arkward place, but like one said you get used to it.
No, I have to agree here. I find the location not convenient. My Pearl Flip had the camera better located. It didn't stop me from getting the Style as it has more features than the Pearl Flip but I find the camera placement awkward, myself, as well.
As a former owner of the Style, it has a great camera. Powerful little flip phone :) shutter speed is on the slow side for sure. I do very much miss the auto focus for those close up shots.
Still using mine as my business phone. I may check out a Sprint Torch if I can find one inexpensively. But the Style has been a sweetheart. Camera still does a good job, too.
Great camera indeed:cool:
