Seems to be running smoothly. Slightly faster than .522 battery life seems about the same. Only issue was Blackberry News Feeds was giving an error even after resending service books. Just bought berryreader and works fine. No issues currently.

This is from China Mobile. Any modules need to be removed to prevent spying? There seems to be an extra category in permissions called "recording" that I don't remember either.

    What is g3ewalk?

Where do you see china mobile? Isn't GCI a carrier in alaska?

I went into application management and looked at applications I didn't recognize to delete and save memory. I thought they were suspicious but check the modules yourself.

one was in a group of 3 files with similar names except for the ending after "bb_" near net_rim_bb_smime (I deleted it because I didn't recognize it. maybe recorder?) But only 1 of the 3 files could be deleted.

The other was "3G eWalk" - when you google it results say China Mobile and another search says "informer". I don't know what it does, but didn't like the references.

Does anyone know any more? What do these files really do?

    Just googled the file "G3eWalk_v60_480x360"

It only took me to a Chinese site that tried loading a malware on my desktop - blocked by security.

Does anyone know what that does?

I don't think you'll find much about it.
If you don't feel safe with that, then just downgrade and wait for the next release, hopefully from Sprint.

    I'm thinking the same thing.

I wonder has anyone tried the OSBB 600v1 hybrid on 522?

Does anyone know if this fixes the sound issues? ie: no sound notifications work, and no sound files are able to be heard. This is a big issue for me that's been random. If this fixes it, I'll give it a try.
