    I am from South Africa, and new to crack berry, and a devoted blackberry user for the last three years.
    I recently bought a Sprint 9670 from Ebay.
    The problem that i have is that, after getting the fone, i found out that there is no sim card slot.
    Is there any way that i can convert the fone to have a sim card slot?

    I doubt if it doesn't have one. Guess you should've looked at the specs before buying to make sure it was a world phone.

    No, you cannot convert it to have a SIM slot. It is a CDMA-only phone without any GSM capabilities or any ability to install a SIM.

    The 9670, 8330, and 8530 are all CDMA-only devices.

    The 9530, 9550, 9630, and 9650 are dual CDMA/GSM.

    No conversion is possible, the phone has the wrong radio/frequency hardware.

    Probably the best thing you could do is re-sell it and use the proceeds towards a GSM BlackBerry. Sorry we don't have better news for you.
