I have set up under my most used contacts their own custom ring for both phone calls and sms messages. However when these contacts do call or send me a sms text it is my default sound and not my custom sound. What am I doing wrong? What is the correct way to set this up?
Hmm I have different ones set up for certain contacts and it works just fine.
In your settings>Sounds & Ring Tones>Sounds for contacts option it should list all those that have designated ring tones or sms notifications. When you click on one of them and then select phone or messages, is the volume & play sound option set to active profile?
