I received an e-mail from RIM giving me tips on how to use my phone, tips, etc. chart showing the different brower speeds (3G, 1x, edge). I just realized I have never seen my phone go into 3G. Is this a option that needs to be turned on or something? I am in Kansas City (Sprint's HQ) so I am in a 3G/4G market.

Sprints "3g" is displayed as 1XEV.

Do you mean the 3G icon or the actual speed? Not sure if the Style shows '3G' or not, just bought mine yesterday but if you are seeing the 1XEV (all capitol) you are getting a 3G signal.
